Bushcare Services is the leader in restoration ecology in southeast Queensland by providing high quality ecological management and restoration services for large and diverse conservation projects.

We have expanded our services to supply broader contract support programs for natural area managers so that we are now the ‘one-stop shop’ for everything bushland.

Our core activities are focused on project management and operational delivery, to protect and enhance native vegetation and natural habitat. The ecological restoration industry is still relatively new and evolving. Our team have the practical experience and technologies to successfully co-ordinate a range of programs and initiatives.

Bushcare Services philosophy is based on bush regeneration principles for the subtropics. We employ integrated weed control techniques to control and reduce weed populations and use strategic methods to expand and link remnants based on strengthening the sites natural resilience. We also use other techniques where necessary including revegetation programs to compliment restoration goals where it is otherwise not possible to sustain using natural processes.

Bushcare Services can competently undertake numerous major habitat reconstruction programs through to micro-restoration works in peri-urban sites across most habitat systems.

In recognition of growing interests in bushland tracks and trails, we have recently appointed a track construction team that is dedicated to building and maintaining standardised tracks in bushland. This activity complements the need to provide low impact nature based recreation opportunities to the public and provides a platform for designing interpretive signage to complement a park visit.
