Bushcare Services Photos
A project commenced in 2007 along the Coomera River that involved a tremendous effort to treat a suite of 5 different invasive vertical vine species. Revegetation was supplemented in exposed areas to rapidly capture the site. Remaining natural areas were treated to expand out from the drip line of native vegetation.
A 260 metre section of sewage line was rehabilitated by revegetation. The adjoining conservation area was also rehabilitated with detailed bush regeneration. Madeira Vine was a major weed that the team had to overcome and had to carefully manage during civil operations to minimize the dispersal of Madeira tubers.
