As the founder of Bushcare Services, Phil began his journey as a self-employed field technician and has since grown the business into a trusted provider of large-scale, complex bushland projects across Southeast Queensland.

Phil is interested in developing practical, forward-thinking solutions for managing open spaces—balancing conservation goals, recreational use, and biodiversity outcomes. As Director, he plays a key role in ensuring the business remains compliant, well-structured, and aligned with quality management systems that support reliable and impactful service delivery.

General Manager

Jacques is a strategic and values-driven business leader committed to enhancing Bushcare Services’ performance for the benefit of our clients, community, and natural environment. As General Manager, he focuses on aligning business growth with ecological integrity—ensuring our bushland heritage continues to thrive.

With over 15 years of leadership experience, Jacques brings expertise in project management, team development, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring. His background spans agribusiness, wildlife conservation, and tourism, shaped significantly by his work with private nature reserves in South Africa. This diverse experience informs his approach to scalable conservation programs that rely on strong partnerships and collaborative execution.

Jacques plays a key role in upholding our core mission: to restore and maintain natural ecosystems through professional rehabilitation practices that deliver social, environmental, and economic value to the communities we serve.

Division Manager – Rehab and Construction

With over a decade of experience in bushland restoration, Matthew has played a key role across multiple divisions within Bushcare Services. As Project Manager for our Rehabilitation and Construction division, he is responsible for planning and overseeing the delivery of a diverse range of ecological projects. 

Matthew brings a strong blend of hands-on technical expertise, project management capabilities, and formal environmental qualifications. His well-rounded background ensures practical, informed solutions that support both environmental outcomes and project efficiency.

Division Manager – Maintenance

With over 10 years of hands-on experience in bushland restoration, Holly has developed a deep understanding of ecological management through a range of roles within Bushcare Services. From on-ground delivery to project oversight, she brings a practical and detail-driven approach to every stage of work.

As the leader of our Maintenance division, Holly is committed to ensuring all programs are delivered with precision, consistency, and a high standard of workmanship. Her extensive technical knowledge in weed control, native plant ecology, site assessment, and restoration planning is grounded in real-world experience—making her a trusted expert in maintaining the long-term health of natural areas.

Bushland Manager

Liam brings over 10 years of experience in bushland restoration and horticulture, with much of his career shaped through progressive roles at Bushcare Services. From field practitioner to project manager, he has developed a comprehensive skillset across all stages of ecological project delivery.

Liam has led large-scale revegetation projects and now plays a key role in overseeing operations within our Vegetation Management division. Known for his collaborative approach, he works closely with clients and project partners to ensure outcomes are practical, effective, and environmentally sound.

Office Manager

Fleur plays a key role in managing our business accounts, systems, and quality processes. With years of experience in accounts, business administration & management, and various operations, she brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. Her deep understanding of our ongoing projects gives her a unique perspective that bridges operations and accounts.

Fleur is meticulous in ensuring compliance with both internal and external regulations. Her strong grasp of our industry, combined with her previous experience and relevant qualifications, makes her an invaluable asset to the company.
